The Shiba Inu (SHIB) team isn’t done just yet, despite the remarkable strides they have made this year. The SHIB community can expect more to come as Shiba Inu’s Marketing Lead, Lucie, recently revealed plans for the ecosystem that could be actualized next year.
More To Come For Shiba Inu
In a post on her X (formerly Twitter) platform, Lucie revealed plans to launch more SHIB offerings on the Shibarium network. Some of the things that Shibizens can expect next year include play-to-earn (P2E) games, Shibahub, and Sheboshis. Work is being put into developing the Shib Metaverse, as she suggested that a reveal is on the horizon.
Shiba Inu’s native decentralized exchange (DEX), ShibaSwap, is also expected to move from the Ethereum network to Shibarium soon. This move was meant to have occurred a long time ago. However, Shiba Inu’s lead developer, Shytoshi Kusama, mentioned then that they wanted to focus on the projects that had already been built on the layer-2 network before turning their attention to ShibaSwap 2.0.
Lucie didn’t provide a specific timeline for when these plans could become a reality. When quizzed about about it, she simply said, “When it’s all ready, development never ends.” She believes there is no hurry, as she remarked that crypto doesn’t need temporary success. Instead, it needs to “grow…
