Three Democratic political groups FTX founder Sam Bankman-Fried (SBF) donated to will seek to return the funds, The Washington Post reported.
Following SBF’s arrest on Dec. 12, increased scrutiny has been placed on his political donations to political parties in the United States. U.S. Attorney Damian Williams said the disgraced founder used the “dirty money” to buy influence and impact public policy in Washington.
Over $1 million SBF’s Political Donation to be Returned
The three groups -the Democratic National Committee (DNC), the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC), and the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC)- told newsmen they would seek to return the donations they got from SBF.
